The REAL End of Part 1
Ok, probably should've mentioned that some of my chapters have little extra parts to them, like the last two pages. These show parts of the story that don't immediately concern Ryan and Jay (i.e., after the "To Be Continued" mark.)
Oh, and there's some Internet terms that some people may not recognize on this page; feel free to ask about them.
...Ok fine, there's buttsecks on the page, I get it. However, please note that I include it only for the sake of accuracy; yaoi fangirls have been known to enjoy anime dude-on-dude buttsecks, after all. This does not necessarily mean I share her opinions on it, nor that this will become the main theme of the series, just that it's a probable source of her fantasies. I apologize for any ruined childhoods.
(For the record, I do myself enjoy yaoi, but only original ones. Fan pairings typically put me off.)
And on that note, for now I think I'll call this character the Fangirl. Time will tell how, if at all, she is related to Ryan and Jay.
Next part, we'll be moving back to Ryan and Jay, this time at school.
Naruto and Sasuke belong to Masashi Kishimoto, and Riku and Sora belong to...Square Enix, I guess?
...no, I'm not taking that "keyhole" crack back. Squeenix knew what they were doing when they named it that e_e
Oh my God. "Riku, you unlocked my keyhole!" Just... fucking died. And props for getting two of my OTP's in there. XDD
@MegaAnimeFreak7: lol just lucky, I guess ^^
btw, if you think about it, unlocking Sora's keyhole was a pretty important plot point before, I wouldn't be surprised if it was again in KH3.
@AdmiralBetas: LMAO KH3. It was nothing but RikuxSora the entire way through (which I enjoyed thoroughly). XDD
Okay so...all of the references went over my head. I admit it. BUT, that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate some guy on guy actions. Nom nom.
@AndToBeLoved: No prob, the overall yaoi smexiness and that little monologue at the end were the main points here. Most of the references were just for atmosphere :D But in case you were curious:
1) Naruto 307 was the chapter of the Naruto manga where the titular character (the blond dude) finally meets up with his long lost friend/rival Sasuke (the brunette) after the latter defected to the bad guys. Sasuke doesn't exactly make out with Naruto, but he does sling his arm over his shoulder in a VERY suggestive manner before attempting to stabby-stab him. Hence the +10% fanservice remark. And don't even get me started on all those "accidental" kisses they have in the manga and anime. (One was canon, the others were filler).
2) KH3 = Kingdom Hearts 3, the much anticipated, console based next installment of the video game series. Lots of fans like to speculate about the content that's gonna be in it; some even write fan comics, or doujinshi. And if you play the games a lot, as MegaAnimeFreak7 up there notes, the scene I'm suggesting can't be too far off the mark. Oh, and in the game, "keyholes" are the locks on hearts that keyblade holders, like Sora (the brown-haired guy) can unlock. They just point their keyblades and a light comes out which...opens the hole. Ahem.
3) And Gravitation is a popular yaoi, notable for being somewhat mainstream due to the added appeal of its OST and musical themes. (I actually haven't seen it myself, I'm just going off my earlier research.)
That concludes this installment of AdmiralBetas' lessons on yaoi references.
@AdmiralBetas: Haha, well thank you for the yaoi reference lesson. You learn something new every day. (And if it's about yaoi - it's a good day. Even for a Monday.)
This is were I separate myself from Yaoi fangirls. I like only original stories, and I'm not really into fan pairings or the smex. I find gay couples cute, I also find straight couples cute as well in stories. I enjoy reading about both as long as they are original and have fleshed out characters. And all the Yaoi fangirls I've observed seem to think a gay relationship = smex. Good. Lord. I don't want to read it, gay or straight XD I agree with 'fangirl' that its sad that gay teens can't come out, but really more for the equality standpoint, not the for my own smexy benefit.
Anime is so cheesy.
@ElyssaJM: Indeed, it can be lol. I'm glad my largely manga style comic is to your liking, though ^_^
Anyways, thanks for the well-thought out comment! I love answering these :D
More to your original point, yes, the Fangirl isn't quite as truly gay positive as we'd like. But then again, as you'll see later, Ryan's not quite as mature as we'd like, nor is Jay as sensitive as he could be. It's always possible that all three could change for the better. Or worse, I suppose.
You'll have to keep reading to find out ;)
I can't believe you just made Sora say that XDD omg<3
@PrincessPapaya13: I wondered when I'd be back on this page. XD
But yeah, that totally just happened. I couldn't resist, it was so obvious! Not only that, but I think it helps get the point across.
(Although, I have been thinking of editing this page, not for content, but for structure. Too many pictures and word ballonns crammed together for my taste.)
Thanks for the comment, and hope you enjoy the rest of the comic :)
The alt comment had me in stitches. It was painful laughing because my throat is still sore from choking.
